Dallas Market Recap

Dallas Market did not disappoint and felt especially exciting—like everything we love at Nancy Parrish Interiors was coming to life in the most colorful, story-filled way.

First, let’s talk about the vintage moment… because it was so good. Think perfectly worn army jackets, reimagined with rock and country band patches, then elevated with strips of vintage kimono fabric. Each one felt like a piece of art you could throw on—layered, collected, and completely one-of-a-kind. Exactly the kind of unexpected mix we’re always drawn to.

And then…the textiles. I came across the most incredible vintage silks from fourth- and fifth-generation artisan families in India, many with hand-painted details. Truly spectacular doesn’t even begin to cover it. The craftsmanship, the history, the color—it’s the kind of beauty you just don’t rush past. Pieces like that don’t just add to a space or wardrobe—they become the story.

My absolute favorite find, though, was alivia (and I cannot wait for this one!). We’re so excited to be bringing this line into Hue by Nancy Parrish Interiors soon. What makes it so special is that the prints and embroideries come directly from artwork created by artists with Down syndrome and other special needs. The artists are the heart of the brand, and you can feel that in every piece. It’s joyful, meaningful, and beautifully designed—everything we love.

Across the board, color is definitely having a moment—but in a very livable way. We’re seeing less reliance on neutrals and more confidence in using color as a statement. The best part? It’s not about overdoing it. It’s about that one standout piece you can mix into what you already have, whether that’s in your closet or your home. Effortless, expressive, and completely personal.

That same energy carried into home and furnishings too—more color, more pattern, more texture, and a lot more personality. Spaces are feeling layered and collected instead of overly styled, which we love. I’m already counting down to High Point Market in April to dive even deeper into this direction.

A standout in the home category was Wall Snobs wallpaper—and it’s easy to see why I fell in love. Their fully customizable approach, right down to specific themes and imagery, resonates so deeply with how we design at Nancy Parrish Interiors. We believe every space should tell a personal story, and every project we take on is tailored to the individual client. Having a resource like this that allows for that level of creativity and personalization makes all the difference in creating spaces that feel truly one-of-a-kind… and a lot more fun in the process.

The best part? So many of these finds will be making their way into Hue by Nancy Parrish Interiors in the coming weeks. Be sure to follow us on social for updates and first looks as everything arrives. And if you already have your eye on something (I don’t blame you), go ahead and make an appointment to preview and reserve your pieces now!
