Whimsical in terracotta, Sam the Mutt is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. With an expression that is so lifelike that it feels he may bark at any moment, there are a number of artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. Brownlee Currey had some fun with this mixed-breed, describing his reality as, "There may be some bulldog in there, but Sam’s mental and physical acuity is more akin to a potato than a sporting breed."
